About The Position
We are a growing civil construction company specializing in earthwork, site development, utilities, and landfill construction. We take pride in running efficient, safety-focused operations and maintaining a strong, team-oriented culture. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to support our construction operations. This role involves hauling aggregates, gravel, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites, pits, and plants across Maine.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (clean driving record preferred)
- Experience operating dump trucks in construction environments
- Ability to work long hours during peak construction season
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of local pits, plants, and roadways is a plus
- Hauling for earthwork or utility crews
- Operating in tight or active job site conditions
- Winter driving / year-round operations
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks on public roads and active construction sites
- Transport materials (gravel, sand, loam, asphalt, etc.) efficiently and on schedule
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate load tickets and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, foremen, and plant personnel
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
