About The Position

Windsor Communities is seeking a Dual-Site Apartment Service Technician II for their communities at Windsor 335 (a garden-style community with 248 apartment homes) and Amaray Las Olas by Windsor (a high-rise community with 254 apartment homes) in Plantation/Fort Lauderdale, FL. Successful candidates may come from backgrounds in apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel maintenance, or general building maintenance. The role requires intermediate competency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. The technician must be available for a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergency response. Windsor Communities has been recognized for its exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
  • Site specific certifications such as: EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas
