The Dual Sales Director will be responsible for meeting and exceeding group booking goals, increasing average daily rate and occupancy growth, growing market share, maximizing revenue, controlling expenses, overseeing the sales and/or events department, and maintaining client relationships and networking. This role requires a proactive approach to developing action plans, conducting site inspections, and executing strategic plans to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR growth. The Director will also coordinate with revenue and pricing teams to build pipelines, secure new business, and represent the hotel positively in the community and industry. Key responsibilities include overseeing the operations of the hotel sales function, generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence. The role also involves overseeing the event management of group bookings to ensure a seamless on-property experience with friendly service. Maintaining strong visibility in local community and industry organizations through site visits, trade shows, and sales calls is crucial. The position may require attending meetings and functions outside of typical office hours.
