About The Position

This is a dual position as a Cage Shift Supervisor and Main Banker. As Cage Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible and accountable for the operations of the cage activities during a shift. As Main Banker, you will perform cage cash transactions. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate plus tips.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in high volume cash operations.
  • Proficient in using the Ten Key Adding Machine.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must be able to work in an intense and fast-paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties.
  • Ability to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
  • Sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
  • Maintain security and accountability of company funds in the cage during the designated assignment, including training of cage team members.
  • Work in a window when necessary.
  • Supervise cage cashiers.
  • Provide an orderly and positive working environment.
  • Conduct investigations of variances (over/shorts) that may occur on shift and follow up with paperwork.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Monitor team member performance, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
  • Comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and all Tribal Regulations.
  • Exchange cash for chips and chips for cash.
  • Verify and prepare all Floor Cashier and Food and Beverage banks.
  • Perform cashier exchanges for cashiers.
  • Prepare deposits.
  • Perform Slot hopper fills.
  • Perform Table Games fills and credits.
  • Receive money from the bank institution.
  • Take in and post cash and chips from soft count.
  • Pay out Poker, Slot, or other jackpot winners when necessary.
  • May prepare W-2G's for all winnings over $1,199.00.
  • Check and verify Jackpot Payout Slips for completion.
  • Maintain accountability of Marker Bank.
