About The Position

This is a dual position as a Cage Shift Supervisor and Main Banker. As Cage Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible and accountable for the operations of the cage activities during a shift. As Main Banker, you will perform cage cash transactions. You will maintain security and accountability of company funds, supervise cage cashiers, provide an orderly and positive working environment, handle customer complaints and inquiries, and monitor team member performance. You will also exchange cash for chips and chips for cash, verify and prepare banks, perform cashier exchanges, prepare deposits, perform slot hopper fills, perform table games fills and credits, receive money from the bank institution, take in and post cash and chips from soft count, pay out jackpot winners, and prepare W-2Gs for winnings over $1,199.00. You will also check and verify Jackpot Payout Slips and maintain accountability of the Marker Bank. A key aspect of this role is adhering to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in high volume cash operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in using the Ten Key Adding Machine.
Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties.
Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise cage cashiers.
Provide orderly and positive working environment.
Conduct investigations of variances (over/shorts) that may occur on shift and follow up with paperwork.
Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
Monitor team member performance, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.
Exchange cash for chips and chips for cash.
Verify and prepare all Floor Cashier and Food and Beverage banks.
Perform cashier exchanges for cashiers.
Prepare deposits.
Performs Slot hopper fills.
Performs Table Games fills and credits.
Receive money from bank institution.
Take in and post cash and chips from soft count.
Pay out Poker, Slot or other jackpot winners, when necessary.
May prepare W-2G’s for all winnings over $1,199.00.
Check and verify Jackpot Payout Slips for completion.
Maintains accountability of Marker Bank.
