About The Position
The College of Health Sciences/Department of Kinesiology and Human Performance at Sul Ross State University is seeking a qualified instructor to teach dual-credit Introduction to Health Sciences courses beginning in the Spring 2027 semester. The instructor will teach online courses to dual-credit students and provide a quality educational experience aligned with both high school and college-level academic expectations. Although the courses are online, the instructor must be available to provide synchronous virtual instruction on predetermined class days and times, which must be maintained.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned online Introduction to Health Sciences dual-credit courses.
- Conduct synchronous virtual class meetings on the established instructional days and times.
- Develop and deliver instructional materials appropriate for college-level dual-credit coursework.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate academic records.
- Communicate regularly with students, university personnel, and appropriate dual-credit program representatives.
- Maintain compliance with university academic policies and dual-credit instructional expectations.
- Exercise due caution and practice safe work habits to support personal safety and the safety of others.
