About The Position
The bartender role is essential to the hotel's bar, requiring an ultra-friendly personality to take orders, mix drinks, and engage with customers. The position involves daily tasks such as making and serving drinks, verifying age for alcohol purchases, setting up and breaking down portable bars, and thorough cleaning.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Capable of thinking on their feet
- Able to keep up in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities
- Make and serve drinks to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Set up a portable bar in the function area
- Break down and clean bar thoroughly and return all supplies to their proper area.
