Kontoor Brands is seeking a DTC Buyer/Merchandiser to lead assortment strategy for assigned categories, collaborating with Brand Merchandising and Cross-Functional teams. This role involves developing data-based recommendations for product selection, managing purchase orders, and maintaining vendor partnerships. The position also requires strategizing on pricing and promotional activities to maximize revenue and margin, analyzing sales trends and inventory levels, and developing sales and product inventory plans. The Buyer/Merchandiser will also collaborate with e-commerce teams on site metrics, online merchandising insights, and product optimization, manage the promotional calendar, and coach Merchandising Specialists. A key aspect of the role is balancing DTC inventories to achieve the highest return on investment, communicating delivery updates, and planning markdown strategies. The individual will also engage in seasonal line reviews, ensure e-commerce teams have necessary sales collateral, and provide performance reviews for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
