About The Position
Restart, Inc. is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization founded in 1986, dedicated to providing Housing with Services, and Independent Living Skills Services for individuals living with brain injuries and related disabilities. Our mission is to empower clients by teaching them strategies for daily living and facilitating their reentry into the community. We are looking for a DSP professional who can support our growing needs. Specifically, this position would work out of one of our homes in South Minneapolis. We will provide the training you need to succeed and to build lasting relationships with the clients we serve. Operating in seven private homes throughout the Greater Minneapolis Area, we offer a variety of work settings and a full benefit package.
Requirements
- Experience in care giving to a variety of disabled adults
- Outstanding attendance record
- Medical training
- Adaptive personality and a patient mind-set
- Eagerness to learn and grow
- Flexible and able to work at different sites as scheduled
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for adults with disabilities, especially those who have sustained traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Great communicator
- Caring demeanor
Responsibilities
