About The Position

InReach needs a DSP / a Part-Time Employee for a young male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Union County area of Midland, NC. Staff will provide Community Living and Support Services 18 hours a week. Must be able to handle personal needs and some lifting required.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Valid driver's license
• Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
• Able to handle personal needs and some lifting required

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred

Responsibilities

• Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
• Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
• Facilitate community integration.
• Help individual develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitoring dosages.
• Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.
