DSP Independent Contractor- Ind Trail (LG)
About The Position
InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) as an Independent Contractor to provide Day Support services and Community Living and Support Services for an adult male with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the Indian Trail, NC area. This role involves approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The DSP will help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles, facilitate community integration, and assist in developing healthy social habits. Responsibilities also include dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, as well as transporting and accompanying the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
