About The Position
Quality Supports for Individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Since 1990. This is a FULL TIME DSP FLOATER position with a pay rate of $23.50 per hour. Employees are paid weekly and guaranteed 36 hours over a 5-day work week. The schedule is Tuesday-Saturday with shifts between 2pm-11pm. Floaters work in varying locations and must have the flexibility to adjust assigned locations as needed with little to no notice, although the days worked will remain consistent.
Requirements
- 1+ Years Full Time experience supporting individuals with I/DD is required.
- Floaters must be able to work in all homes throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Driver's License, car insurance and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all background checks and classes required.
- Current CPR/FA and Level 1 Med Administration Certs

Responsibilities
- Complete all required documentation to include medication record, daily notes, progress on client goals and outcomes, and financial transactions.
- Support each individual so that s/he will feel a sense of self-determination, security, and have an opportunity to have meaningful relationships with others in their community.
- Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care/hygiene, household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians.
