About The Position

We are looking for an DSP applications software engineer to work in a team responsible for development of Qualcomm AI solution. This role involves working with the architecture team to define the next generation NSP, enabling state-of-the-art network models and new AI SW features to meet customer use-cases, and evaluating and optimizing neural networks runtime performance and accuracy. The engineer will also be responsible for developing the AI SW stack on Qualcomm NSP.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Embedded systems development
Experience in C/C++ and Python
Experience in AI/ML frameworks like Pytorch, Tensor flow, ONNX, etc. is a plus
Background in mathematical algorithms using fast math libraries and vector instruction sets is a plus
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, analytical and debugging skills
Demonstrated ability to learn, think and adapt in a fast-changing environment
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
