About The Position

Solid Rock Recruiting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial drywall projects in the Division 9 sector. The role leads projects from award through completion, coordinating with clients, general contractors, architects, subcontractors, and field teams. The Project Manager oversees budgets, schedules, resources, documentation, quality, and project execution, while building strong relationships and fostering a team environment centered on communication and accountability.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial drywall or a related specialty construction field.
• Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects from award through completion.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar construction software.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide field teams and project partners.
• Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client and general contractor relationships.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial drywall projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, general contractors, architects, and subcontractors to support seamless project execution.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, resources, and timelines to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Use On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar construction software for project management and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with field teams to support quality workmanship, productivity, and successful project execution.
