We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Drywall Installer to join our team. Requirements
- Previous experience installing or hanging residential drywall
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and hang drywall panels
- Familiarity with drywall tools, materials, and installation techniques
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to safely lift and carry drywall sheets and work in physically demanding environments
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels in residential homes according to project specifications
- Hang drywall on walls and ceilings using proper installation techniques
- Secure drywall panels with appropriate fasteners while maintaining quality standards
- Read basic blueprints and follow layout instructions
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, fit, and installation quality
- Work with finishing crews to ensure projects are ready for the next phase of construction
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite while following company safety policies
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and builder deadlines
