About The Position

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our Maintenance team supporting Rising View, a military housing community consisting of approximately 2,000 residential units located near Offutt Air Force Base. This role is critical to maintaining high-quality interior finishes throughout the community. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, delivers consistent results, and understands the importance of quality work in homes occupied by military members and their families. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and inspectors to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining professionalism and cleanliness in occupied homes.

Requirements

Proven experience in drywall finishing, preferably in residential environments.
Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and finishing techniques.
Ability to consistently produce high-quality finishes with minimal rework.
Ability to represent the company professionally when interacting with residents and team members.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attendance, organization, and time management skills.
Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in occupied homes or customer-facing environments preferred.
Experience in large-scale residential, multi-family, or military housing environments preferred.
Experience with texture matching, skim coating, and Level 4-5 finishes preferred.
Basic painting preparation knowledge and additional maintenance skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform all phases of drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texture matching.
Repair damaged drywall caused by water intrusion, normal wear and tear, or maintenance work.
Complete smooth, paint-ready finishes that meet company quality standards.
Match existing textures and finishes across various home styles and ages.
Work professionally in occupied homes while maintaining cleanliness and respect for residents.
Coordinate with maintenance team members and supervisors to complete work on schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.
Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
Document completed work and communicate additional repair needs.
Perform additional maintenance repairs within skillset and abilities as assigned.
