About The Position
As a metal framing and drywall carpenter, employees will be required to install metal framing, drywall, and other scopes of work but not limited to metal framing. Production numbers and attention to detail are highly requested. Employees will be required to have reliable transportation to all jobsites in the Denver Metro Area, and report to work in a timely manner. Requirements
- Reliable transportation to all jobsites in the Denver Metro Area
- Ability to report to work in a timely manner
- Ability to read plans and details
- Knowledge of partition ratings i.e.: 1 Hour Fire, 1 hour Sound ect.
- Knowledge of gas Powder-Actuated Tools
Nice To Haves
- Light gauge and cold formed metal framing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Metal framing installation (light gauge and cold formed metal framing both preferred)
- Drywall installation
- Sheathing installation
- Radial walls/soffit framing
- RF Shielding
- HM door installation
- Fabrication of boxed headers
- Ability to read plans and details
- Knowledge of partition ratings i.e.: 1 Hour Fire, 1 hour Sound ect.
- Wall Assemblies (Full height, shaft walls, furred and chase walls)
- Ability to frame hard ceilings and install drywall grid
- Operation of lifts (scissor interior and exterior and boom)
- Knowledge of gas Powder-Actuated Tools
