About The Position

NOVO Health Services provides linen management solutions to the healthcare industry, with a focus on safety and infection control. Its regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and use modern processing equipment and processes. The Dryfold Worker takes items from linen bins and uses ironing or folding machines to process them. This role works in a fast-paced, noisy environment and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and handling carts and linen.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 50 pounds.
• Physical and mental ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school education, GED, or formal education/training.
• One to two years of experience in manufacturing, production, or the service industry.
• Previous experience with folding machines.

Responsibilities

• Feed clean hospital linen into folding machines.
• Meet production numbers depending on the machine.
• Ensure items are folded and placed on the appropriate cart or table.
• Monitor items and the work area to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Understand, observe, and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Assist with and perform other duties as assigned.
