About The Position
Healthcare Linen Services Group operates a commercial laundry that cleans and returns hospital linen. Dryfold Feeders help process linen that hospitals rely on for patient care and clinical work. The company provides training and hires based on attitude and potential; no prior experience, diploma, or resume is necessary. This is a full-time position with a 30–40-hour workweek. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Pay is $15.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available for employees who want additional hours. Benefits begin on the first of the month after 60 days. The job is performed on a manufacturing floor in a building that is not climate controlled, so conditions can be hot in summer and cold in winter. Employees remain on their feet throughout the shift and do steady bending, lifting, and pushing of carts. The company promotes from the floor, and many leads started on the line.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Process hospital linen as part of the commercial laundry operation.
- Perform work related to sorting, folding, washing, and cleaning linen.
- Stand throughout the shift and regularly bend, lift, and push carts.
