About The Position
This position involves picking up dry linen and feeding items into various dry fold machines, adhering to standard operating procedures for each machine. The role requires inspecting each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear, while consistently meeting quality and production standards. This is a temporary position with potential for an extended offer, and specific shift details (1st or 2nd shift for Dryfold and Soil) will be provided upon offer. A shift differential is offered.
Requirements
- Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
- Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels).
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Be able to operate computer/printer.
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.
Responsibilities
- Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
- Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
- Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
- Meets quality and production standards.
