About The Position
This is a temporary production position at Logans Linens, located at 1240 Harry Long rd. The shift is from 7 am to 5:30 pm, Thursday through Sunday. The primary responsibility is to pick up dry linen and feed it into various dry fold machines, following standard operating procedures for each machine. The role also involves inspecting each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear, while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Requirements
- Ability to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (on wheels).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to operate computer/printer.
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.
Responsibilities
- Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
- Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
- Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
- Meets quality and production standards.
