About The Position

The Dryer Operator is responsible for taking full responsibility for drying and instantizing operations. This includes operating and CIP (Clean-In-Place) the DPW & Protein Dryers, Instantizer, and related equipment. The operator will monitor operations using a Panel View controller and associated equipment, perform necessary readings and collect samples on time, and maintain cleanliness of all equipment, the dryer area, and the control room. The operator must remain in the dryer area when dryers are in operation and keep clear, accurate, and timely records. A strong understanding of the plant's commitment to quality and customer expectations is essential. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50#
• Must be able to rarely push and pull 500# chemical barrel
• Exposure to extreme changes in temperature
• Frequent stairs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
