About The Position

Rogge is looking for a Warehouse Dry Order Selector. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, team-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Particular attention must be given to safety, accuracy, quality and timeliness. The role involves ensuring weekly dry grocery orders are put up on time and accurately, sorting and labeling incoming vendor receivables, consolidating receivables to customer orders, picking grocery orders with an emphasis on accuracy, filling out pick tickets accurately and on time, building high-quality pallets for shipment over the water and/or road to remote areas of Alaska, ensuring weekly Rogge grocery orders are shipped accurately and on-time, participating in month-end inventory counts, assisting other warehouse areas when dry work is complete, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify management of any compromises to food safety or quality.

Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight time lines
  • Intermediate English skills (reading/writing/speaking)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and high level of effort
  • Ability to work in frozen (-10 F) and refrigerated (36 F) environments
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Basic math skills
  • Team Player

Responsibilities

  • Ensures weekly dry grocery orders are put up on time and accurately
  • Sorts and labels incoming vendor receivables according to PO Dock Copy/Pick Tickets
  • Consolidates sorted and labeled receivables to customer orders
  • Picks grocery orders according to pick ticket with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Fills out pick tickets accurately and on time
  • Builds high-quality pallets for shipment over the water and/or road, to remote areas of Alaska
  • Ensures weekly Rogge grocery orders are shipped accurately and on-time
  • Participates in counting and double-checking counts for month-end inventory every month
  • Assists other warehouse areas when dry work is complete
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment
  • All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality
