About The Position

Supervise all elements of the casino’s Drop Team operations. Carry out procedures and train team members on the job, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols. Supervise and assist team members with the daily drop and count functions. Ensure security protocols are followed when opening and closing gaming machines. Provide coaching, counseling, and recommendations for recognition to encourage excellent performance in all areas, investigating team member complaints and reporting findings to Director of Finance. Issue written and oral instructions for duty assignments, examining work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting supervisor. Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program. Regular attendance is required. Train and mentor team members. Assist where/when needed in Cage/Vault.

Requirements

  • Educational level usually associated with the attainment of an Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
  • Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
  • One to two years of work experience in a position that required supervision of staff and management or allocation of limited resources.
  • Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation required.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug-screening test and obtain a gaming license.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of finance/cage related management, information and reporting systems preferred.
