About The Position

The primary requirements of the Drop Mill Operator are to cool off, properly mix and process compounds through the mill within allowable specifications. The hours of operation for this position are 2:45pm-11:00pm. This role offers growth potential, a team-oriented environment, and a dynamic culture and people. Requirements

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
High School or GED preferred
Willing to work overtime including weekends
Close visual work required.
Knowledge of general computer skills.
Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Cool off, properly mix and process compounds through the mill within allowable specifications.
Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Maintain quality control by monitoring production output.
Identify any issues with the product or process.
Correctly identify the correct batch being milled.
Ensure belts, pans, and knives are always cleaned between compounds.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures.
Operate a forklift for various functions.
