About The Position

The Drop Count Team Member safeguards casino assets by removing, exchanging, collecting, and accurately counting cash boxes from slot machines, table games, the sportsbook, and kiosks in accordance with established policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. The role includes opening, removing, and securing currency from slot machines and table games; removing cash boxes from gaming machine bases and replacing empty boxes; transporting cash boxes to carts and placing them on properly labeled shelves; and transporting drop boxes to the count room. The team member ensures all cash boxes are removed from carts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to handle cash.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and push heavy objects for long periods of time.
• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Knowledge of computers, G&D C4 and M5 equipment, calculators, and a JCM docking station.

Responsibilities

• Remove, exchange, collect, and accurately count cash boxes from slot machines, table games, the sportsbook, and kiosks.
• Open, remove, and secure currency from slot machines and table games.
• Remove cash boxes from gaming machine bases and replace them with empty boxes.
• Transport cash boxes to carts and place them on properly labeled shelves.
• Transport drop boxes to the count room.
• Ensure all cash boxes are removed from carts.
