Drop Count Attendant

About The Position

The Drop Count Attendant removes cash from gaming machines and transports it to designated cash-handling areas. The position reports to the Drop Count Manager and is part-time, with a scheduled shift of 4:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Pay is $16.00 per hour. Earned Wage Access is available as an option.

Requirements

Ability to accurately sort the contents of drop boxes.
Experience handling large volumes of cash.
General knowledge of computer technology.

Responsibilities

Place money into designated boxes and ensure machines are locked after money is removed.
Record meters with a currency card to validate revenue.
Access and retrieve computerized data.
Maintain security and follow applicable procedures and rules.
Transport money carts to assigned drop locations while accompanied by security.
Maintain the cleanliness and condition of money carts.
Complete required departmental paperwork accurately and comply with Title 31 regulatory requirements, MICS/TICS, standard operating procedures, internal processes, and departmental policies.
Answer customer or public inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
