About The Position

The Drop/Count Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting all drop and count operations in a large-scale casino environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the process. This role includes monitoring the collection and counting of currency from slot machine bill validators, verifying and sorting cash and chips, auditing reports, maintaining counting equipment, managing supplies, and assuming supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor. The Team Lead assists with training, guiding, assigning work, and evaluating team members while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, including TGRA dress code standards, badge compliance, key control procedures, surveillance notifications, test counts, attendance tracking, break scheduling, and report sign-offs. Additional duties include coordinating with the main cage and accounting department, ensuring equipment is functioning properly, arranging repairs when necessary, maintaining accurate count records, participating in leadership development programs, and adhering to all Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) policies, safety standards, Tribal Gaming Regulatory Authority regulations, Bank Secrecy Act requirements, and Title 31 certification requirements.
