About The Position

Under direct supervision from the Drop/Count Team Supervisor, contributes to the efficient daily operation of Drop/Count activities by handling and processing Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) drops, in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. Maintains professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of cash handling experience in a casino or banking environment.
  • A combination of relevant education and related work experience may be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license is required when driving vehicles for work-related purposes.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation.
  • Must be able to submit supporting documentation of education and training to support qualifications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good stating according to licensing rules and regulations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and qualify for insurance coverage under the company's fleet management policy, when applicable.
  • Pre-employment drug screen.
  • Personal reference check and employment verification.
  • Conducts Federal, State, and tribal criminal history in accordance with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Gaming Commission Regulation, Part 400.7, Background Investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares Casino for drop by placing empty cash boxes at each designated location.
  • Removes cash boxes from designated machines; transports funds and tickets to count room in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Sorts and prepares funds for the count process.
  • Operates mechanical counting equipment.
  • Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains currency sorting machines.
  • Assists with counting and strapping currency, coins, and tickets.
  • Maintains complete and accurate reports and records; reconciles totals.
  • Assists with resolving Count disputes.
  • Performs emergency drops as necessary.
  • Assists patrons with general information upon request.
  • Complies with gaming and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
