About The Position

The Drop and Count Team Member is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and secure collection, sorting, counting, and recording of casino currency, chips, and other financial instruments. This role ensures the integrity of all financial transactions through adherence to established procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Team Members work collaboratively to facilitate both the drop and count processes while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, security, and accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Cash handling experience
  • Excellent mathematical and clerical aptitude
  • Ability to multitask and work as part of the team
  • Ability to promote a cooperative approach between departments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt
  • Ability to acquire and maintain extensive knowledge of TICS and applicable gaming regulations
  • Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, twist, pull/push over 50 pounds, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Good dexterity and grip
  • Ability to work quickly and move fast
  • Good hand-eye coordination

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year count room experience
  • Proficiency with computers and currency counters

Benefits

  • Paid for 10 hours for each qualifying day worked.
  • Overtime compensation will apply to hours physically worked that exceed 40 hours in a given workweek.
