Driving Range Assistant
About The Position
GolfSuites Baton Rouge is seeking an energetic and dependable part-time Driving Range Assistant to help keep our outdoor bays safe, clean, and operating smoothly while delivering a great guest experience. This is a hands-on, active role ideal for team players who enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. The Driving Range Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the driving range by maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational environment. This role involves outdoor work, physical activity, guest interaction, and general maintenance to ensure an excellent experience for all guests.
Requirements
- Friday-Sunday availability required
- Clean driving record
- Display energy and enthusiasm
- Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on and as a team
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
- Ability to stoop and bend
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and break down driving range bays
- Retrieve, wash, and manage golf balls using range equipment
- Assist with basic golf club repair and upkeep
- Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning range areas and common spaces
- Assist with venue maintenance tasks as directed by management
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all range areas
- Monitor range activity and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Provide friendly assistance to guests and answer basic questions
- Support other operational duties as assigned
