Driving Foundations Research Intern

Bosch Group•Sunnyvale, CA
•$46 - $69

About The Position

The Driving Foundations Research Intern will conduct research at Bosch Research on mobility challenges, including autonomous parking and driving. The intern will work closely with experienced researchers in Silicon Valley and across Bosch’s global research network, receive mentorship from AI experts, and contribute to publications and real-world technology transfer. Depending on expertise and interests, the intern may work on autonomous end-to-end or World Action Models; planning and decision-making under uncertainty and noise; road-user behavior modeling; post-training, reinforcement learning and self-play; foundation-model distillation; and multimodal trajectory modeling using vision and priors. The role involves developing research prototypes, analyzing experimental results, collaborating with Bosch researchers and subject-matter experts, and sharing findings through publications, reports, and presentations.
