About The Position

Driving Forward provides a career accelerator internship program for first-generation and under-served undergraduate college students. The program is a ten-week virtual internship running from January to March, 2027. In its eighth year, the program forms teams of five college students who work for 10 weeks developing recommendations for a business case. This case is developed in partnership with project coaches, industry experts, and Driving Forward corporate sponsors. Each team is guided by an experienced business coach, and each student is assigned a mentor for career development support. Students complete weekly training assignments on professional skills via the Udemy platform and attend weekly sessions with keynote speakers who share insights on career paths and skill development. The program culminates in a comprehensive presentation of client-focused recommendations delivered to a panel of business leaders. Teams are expected to act as consultants, leveraging their expertise and learning to create practical, actionable solutions for their clients.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to commit 8–10 hours per week, including program participation, team meetings, and mentorship sessions.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
