About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Driver at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana location. The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and promptly to their destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The position pays $12 per hour. Drivers may transport vehicles locally or out of the area and operate a variety of vehicles in different weather and road conditions.

The available schedules rotate between two-week patterns, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. depending on the selected schedule. One option has morning shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; the other has afternoon shifts from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with some 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. shifts. The role includes paid time off, six holidays, employee discounts, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following the rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to their appropriate destinations.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Notify the Manager of customer or vehicle problems, including maintenance needs; help ensure proper oil, tire, and fluid levels.
• Ensure the vehicle has the proper fuel level and refuel it when needed.
• Complete paperwork associated with vehicle pickup and delivery.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Clean vehicles or keep the bus clean during the shift when asked.
• Assist customers with directions, vehicle options, luggage loading and unloading, and basic policies and procedures when asked.
• Drive safely and attentively to prevent injury to others and damage to vehicles.
• Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
