About The Position

The Driver is responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and events outside the community, ensuring their safety and the safety of their equipment. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, keeping accurate records, and assisting with community activities. The Driver will also conduct activities and programming for residents and perform other assigned duties. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

Working with and conversing with others is something you really enjoy!
Attention to detail.
21 or older.
Active Driver's license in excellent standing.

Responsibilities

Drive residents to and from appointments.
Drive residents for events outside of the community and attend the event to help ensure the safety of the residents.
Continually check the vehicle to ensure it remains clean and safe for our residents.
Verifies that all passengers and their equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) are safely secured prior to departure.
Keeps an accurate record of all inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance.
Assists in setting up tables/chairs within the community for resident activities.
Conducts activities and programming for residents.
Other duties assigned.
