About The Position

All aboard! Safe Drivers wanted! As a Driver at our community, you will drive residents to and from appointments and for events outside the community. You will attend events to ensure resident safety, maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle through regular checks, and keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance. Additionally, you will assist in setting up for resident activities and may conduct activities and programming for residents. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Working with and conversing with others is something you really enjoy!
• Attention to detail.
• You're 21 or older.
• Active Driver's license in excellent standing.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from appointments.
• Drive residents for events outside of the community and attend the event to help ensure the safety of the residents.
• Continually check the vehicle to ensure it remains clean and safe for our residents.
• Verifies that all passengers and their equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) are safely secured prior to departure.
• Keeps an accurate record of all inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance.
• Assists in setting up tables/chairs within the community for resident activities.
• Conducts activities and programming for residents.
• Other duties assigned.
