About The Position

Ameriscan Design is seeking a dedicated and reliable delivery driver to transport custom millwork products, including cabinetry, trim, and architectural features, to client job sites. The role requires safe and timely deliveries, careful handling of products, effective route and time management, accurate documentation, and professional customer service. The driver also inspects and maintains the delivery vehicle, follows safety regulations and company policies, and assists the Assembly department during downtime.

Requirements

Valid Class C license.
Clean driving record.
Two years of related experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work a standard 40-hour work week, with deliveries due on site as early as 6 a.m.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely transport and deliver custom millwork products to job sites.
Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and manage time effectively.
Load, unload, and handle millwork products carefully to prevent damage; use appropriate equipment and techniques to lift and secure items.
Communicate professionally with clients at delivery, address questions or concerns, and support customer satisfaction.
Verify inventory loads against shipping papers.
Complete and maintain delivery documentation, including delivery logs, customer signatures, and required paperwork.
Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, report issues or maintenance needs promptly, and keep the vehicle in good working condition.
Follow safety regulations and company policies.
Receive information or instructions for work assignments.
Assist the Assembly department during downtime.
