About The Position

Taylor Metal Products is a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel roofing and siding products. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Class C Driver to join our Salem, Oregon team. This is a full-time driving position making local and out-of-state deliveries of our finished building materials to customers and job sites. No CDL is required. We are looking for someone with a strong driving record who is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on, blue-collar environment.

Requirements

• Valid Class C driver's license required
• Clean and acceptable driving record required
• Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements
• CDL is not required
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Must be comfortable with both local and out-of-state driving
• Must pass applicable background and drug screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred
• Forklift knowledge or experience preferred
• Warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or other blue-collar industry experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Make local and out-of-state deliveries as assigned
• Safely operate company vehicles requiring a Class C driver's license
• Deliver building materials to customers and active job sites
• Secure and transport loads safely
• Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers
• Follow company safety procedures and driving requirements
