Driver - Per Diem. This position is eligible for applicable shift pay differentials. The Driver will provide safe transport for patients to and from the campus, utilizing campus vehicles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Wellbridge’s Driver Criteria Policy.
Must meet all requirements and standards of Wellbridge’s Driver Criteria Policy upon hire and during employment.
Valid CPR/BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in medical/behavioral health field preferred.
Narcan training

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical patient transport (NMPT) to and from Wellbridge property.
Maintain vehicle maintenance log; check vehicle for damage and problems daily, prior to use.
Operate vehicle in a safe, responsible manner, follow all “rules of the road” and NYS and Wellbridge regulations. Keep the vehicle clean and trash free, schedule vehicle for carwash.
Immediately notify supervisor when involved in a motor vehicle accident (MVA) or an incident regarding patient pick up, drop off.
In conjunction with maintenance and security, takes vehicle for repairs, routine maintenance, and annual state inspections.
