About The Position
The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transportation of residents to various individual and group activities/functions and medical appointments. The role supports creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six (6) months’ experience as a bus/van driver required.
Nice To Haves
- CDL Driver with Passenger Endorsement preferred
Responsibilities
- Drive vans, buses, or automobiles on regular schedules to meet residents’ needs.
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
