About The Position

The Driver with Reliable Onsite Services completes daily service routes in the order assigned by dispatch. The role services, cleans, stocks, and, as necessary, repairs portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers. It requires safe operation of a Route Service truck, professional customer contact, and regular communication with the dispatcher. The Driver may work independently with little or no supervision. Some weekend work may be required based on business conditions. This position is deemed Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Diligent attention to safety.
A DOT medical card must be obtained before commencing employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of truck driving experience is preferred; a CDL license is not required.
Industry experience is a plus; training is provided on products, services, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Complete daily service routes in the sequence assigned by dispatch personnel.
Service, clean, and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
Maintain professional customer contact and open communication with the dispatcher.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures and safely operate a Route Service truck.
Vacuum-pump, clean, and sanitize portable restroom units at customer sites.
Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap, and refill water holding tanks.
Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
Interact with customers, including recommending additional services and supplies when needed.
