About The Position

As a Driver with Reliable Onsite Services at United Rentals, you will complete daily service routes in the sequence assigned by dispatch. You will service, clean, and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers. The role involves professional customer contact and communication with the dispatcher, following safety procedures, and safely operating a Route Service truck. Drivers may work independently with little or no supervision. Some weekend work may be required as business conditions dictate. This position is designated Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Diligent attention to safety.
A DOT medical card must be obtained before commencing employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of truck driving experience is preferred; a CDL is not required.
Industry experience is a plus; training is provided on products, services, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Complete daily service routes in the sequence assigned by dispatch personnel.
Service, clean, and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
Maintain professional customer contact and open communication with the dispatcher.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures and safely operate a Route Service truck.
Vacuum pump, clean, and sanitize portable restroom units at customer sites.
Stock or replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap, and refill water holding tanks.
Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
Interact with customers and recommend additional services and supplies when needed.
