About The Position

The Driver operates and maintains a company tractor, trailer, and tanker to pick up and deliver hazardous materials and wastes in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. The role uses onboard Samsara e-Logging and ePOD devices to manage duty status, delivery routing, and shipment documentation. It involves working with tractor-trailer components, bending and cranking landing gear, climbing in and out of cabs, and sitting for extended periods. The driver may handle potentially hazardous substances and is required to wear PPE.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, count, understand, and speak English.
Valid unrestricted Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
At least 22 years old.
At least 2 years of CDL-A driving experience.
Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
Ability to wear required PPE.
Ability to lift and carry at least 100 pounds, tilt back or break 800-pound-net drums onto a dolly, and stand or walk for long periods.
Must test negative on the company's drug tests.
Must satisfy all DOT physical qualification requirements to qualify for and maintain a CDL-A.

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver hazardous materials and wastes.
Ensure the safety and compliance of each load.
Use the onboard Samsara e-Logging device to manage driver duty statuses and planned freight delivery routing sequences.
Use the ePOD device to accurately capture customer delivery receipts and other relevant shipment documents.
Perform other duties required to make proper customer deliveries and pickups.
Operate and maintain the company tractor, trailer, and tanker in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
