About The Position

Marriott Chicago O'Hare is hiring a part-time Driver to safely operate the hotel shuttle and provide a welcoming, customer-focused transportation experience for guests. The Driver follows traffic laws and designated routes, keeps to shuttle schedules, assists guests with luggage, and coordinates transportation needs with hotel staff. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness and proper condition of the shuttle, promptly reporting vehicle issues or incidents, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. The position is in person at 8535 W. Higgins Rd, Chicago, IL 60631. Availability to work days and weekends as needed is required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (CDL).
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED.
Previous driving experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to assist with guest luggage, including lifting items weighing 50 lbs or more.
Availability to work days and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the hotel shuttle in accordance with traffic laws and regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests during transportation.
Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage.
Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the shuttle vehicle.
Track shuttle schedules and adhere to designated routes.
Communicate with hotel staff to coordinate guest transportation needs.
Promptly report vehicle issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure guests have a positive and welcoming experience throughout transportation.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
