About The Position

World Electric is hiring a full-time Warehouse Driver to transport electrical materials to customers in a company-provided 24-foot state body truck. The driver represents World Electric to customers and is responsible for operating company equipment safely, ensuring products are in good condition, and providing helpful service. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, preparing pallets for delivery, and following safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean motor vehicle record required.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages typically weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, reach with arms, and use hands continuously.
• Maintain continuous mental and visual alertness to support safety and accuracy.
• Flexibility and mobility in body movements.
• Remove gates from flatbed trucks.
• Occasionally lift items greater than 75 pounds with assistance.
• Strong math and reading skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Operate a motor vehicle safely and follow state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicate and problem-solve with sales associates or a manager to meet customer needs.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner toward customers and World Electric associates.
• Ensure the truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.
• Load and unload trucks with equipment.
• Construct pallets based on delivery area to prevent stock from being damaged during delivery.
• Participate in processes and programs that promote a safe work environment, including following safety procedures and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
