About The Position
Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. is looking for a Fuel Driver working an AM shift out of our Stockton location. The Fuel Driver will report to the terminal manager and will drive locally.
Requirements
- CDL with applicable endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, etc.).
- A strong commitment to safety and reliability.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC Card required.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Pre-employment drug and background screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in fuel hauling preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Act in accordance with the company’s code of ethics and mission statement.
- Able and willing to respond to emergencies, urgent or unusual situations (spill/mix cleanups, fires, accidents, urgent customer demands, weekend, holiday, and overnight assignments).
- Remains calm in demanding situations.
- Personally well-groomed and uniformed.
- Knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous to customers and suppliers.
- Maintains a good working relationship with all drivers, dispatchers, and management.
- Take good care of company trucks and equipment.
- Turns in all required paperwork and documentation in a timely, legible, and accurate manner.
