About The Position

EMR has an opening at our Industrial Service Division for a Driver located in Baltimore, MD to support daily logistics operations by transporting materials and equipment between various locations. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient routing, meeting delivery timelines, and supporting seamless coordination with dispatch. Expected to manage multiple stops throughout the day while adapting to schedule changes as needed. Some degree of mechanical/technical aptitude preferred.

Requirements

  • Must possess or be able to obtain DOT certification as required for the role.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including early start times based on customer demands and route requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of local area within a 100-mile radius.
  • Familiarity with customer locations, including access points and delivery procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Some degree of mechanical/technical aptitude preferred.
  • Experience in service/repair or related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport materials and equipment between customer and supplier locations.
  • Maintain efficient routing and meet delivery timelines.

  • Maintain up-to-date contact information for onsite personnel.
  • Ensure accountability for the condition and security of all customer items and equipment during transport.
  • Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain professional and respectful interactions with coworkers.
