About The Position

The Driver is responsible for the safe and prompt transportation of PACE participants, including meal delivery and essential supplies. This role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, and promptly reporting any issues to the Transportation Manager. The driver will safely transport PACE participants, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and satisfaction, while adhering to schedules and adjusting for unforeseen changes and participant needs. The position requires operating vehicles in compliance with regulations and safety standards, and providing physical assistance to participants as needed during boarding and disembarking. Identified needs and concerns should be discussed with the appropriate team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Safe driving history of at least five years
• Monday-Friday schedule, occasional weekend

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred
• Minimum one year of experience with elderly or frail populations preferred
