About The Position

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is seeking a Full Time Driver to join their vibrant senior living community. This role is ideal for a people person who enjoys making a great first impression and providing exceptional service with a smile. The Driver will be a key part of creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, their families, and guests. The position involves greeting residents, families, and guests, safely operating and parking vehicles, assisting with mobility needs, managing traffic flow, delivering packages, collaborating with various teams, and reporting incidents.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent
A valid South Carolina driver’s license in good standing
At least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Calm, courteous demeanor—even under pressure
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Capable of assisting residents with physical mobility needs

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus

Responsibilities

Greeting residents, families, and guests with professionalism and warmth
Safely operating, parking, and retrieving vehicles (automatic & manual)
Assisting with mobility needs, including walkers, wheelchairs, and packages
Managing traffic flow and maintaining safety in valet and drop-off areas
Delivering packages and assisting with resident needs promptly
Collaborating with Community Safety, Transportation, and Concierge teams
Reporting incidents or concerns to supervisors and supporting emergency responses
