About The Position

The Driver will need to possess excellent people skills and the ability to get along well with passengers. The Driver will be required to do routine checks such as oil and water on all security vehicles. Must be able to articulate that they understand Maryland traffic regulations. Must possess ability to clearly communicate location and departure/arrival times over the phone.

Requirements

• Must have at least a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience as a Driver (4 years).
• Must have a valid Maryland Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must have clean driving record that demonstrates the ability to operate a vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
• Must pass the certification in shipping infectious substances/dangerous goods course within the first 2 days of orientation.
• Must pass the medication security health stream course.
• Must wear a HCH uniform.
• Must possess and operate a cell phone
